FOSTV Challenge 118 "Up in the Sky"

This week's challenge is "Up in the Sky". For this challenge I used The stamp set Easter from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.  My image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored using Copic markers. My Copic colors are Skin: E000,E93,Hair: E21,E23,E25, Cross: E40, E42,E43, and E44, HiLites:C00,C4. I diecut the image using Spellbinder's Decorative Labels 28. I then masked the image and inked the clouds. My clouds were done by using a cloud stencil from Inky Antics and Memento Summer Sky and London Fog inks. I used the my sponge daubers left from my previous challenge. There was some Scattered Straw Distressed Ink left on it, some I add sunrays. My ribbon is from Reasonable Ribbon. I used Gina K, Stampin' Up! and Crafter's Companion for my cardstock. My yellow cardstock was diecut using Spellbinder's Label 28.  The base was embossed using Embossacilious Elegance Folder.

Tutorial Time Challenge 94 Sponged Sunrays

 

This week's challenge at mfpspeedytv Tutorial Time is Sponged Sunrays. For this card I used Buffalo Spring Stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. I used cardstock from Stampin' Up!. For the sunrays and sun, I used Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade Distressed Inks. I then sponged the grass with Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough Distresses inks. I stamped the wheat with Gathered Twigs Distressed ink and I masked the image and stamped the horses with the Indians. I used Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink for the horses and buffalo. I used clear embossing powder and heat embossed the images.

FOSTV Challenge 117 Use 3 Brads

 

 

This week's challenged called for the use of at least 3 brads. I used the new stamp set Bundle of Joy from Mark's Finest Paper. My cardstock is Bazzill and Crafter's Companion. The stork was stamped in Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black and clear embossing powder over it. The image was colored with chalks. I used Spellbinders Label 28 and sponged Memento Summer sky around the image. Ribbon is from Reasonable Ribbon. Brads from Stampin' Up!

Tutorial Time Challenge 93

This week's challenge was to make a texturized background using gesso, paint, or drywall compound. I used spackling paste for my texture. I spread a thin amount on cardstock, while it was slightly damp I ran into thru my embosser using Mbossabilities folder Venetian. I then sprayed the background using Glimmer mist in Gold, Meadow Green, and Iridescent Gold. I set it aside to dry.
        Using the Buddha Stamp set from Mark's Finest papers, I stamped Buddha in versamark and heat embossed in gold. Buddha was diecut with Spellbinders Label 18.
    I layered the card and popdotted my Buddha,

FOSTV Challenge 116 Altered Box

Happy St Patty's day everyone. This is a special day for me because I was born on St Patty's day. This week's challenge was to make an altered box. I used We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board to make my box. I then diecut opposite side out with Spellbinders Label 15. I embossed the 4 sides with Sizzix Embossing plate from SU!. I used 4 Distress Inks to color the 4 sides. I used Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Pickled Raspberry, and Ripe Persimmon. I then adhered window sheets in the opening from diecut. I used Happy Easter stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers. The bunnies were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with pencils and gamsol. Ipopdotted the bunnies on opposites and placed flowers from StampingScrapping.com.

Tutorial Time Challenge 92

This week's tutorial at Speedy TV is pierced paper. I used Spellbinder's Label 3 for the piercing.  I used this month's new release Hoppy Easter for my card. FOSTV Challenge 115 Spring Colors

This week's challenge was to create a card using spring colors . I decided to use green, blue, and purple. For my card, I used MFP stamp set Bundle of Joy.The baby buggy was stamped on watercolor paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Baby was stamped in Marvy Matchables Lt. Blue ink. I watercolored the buggy using dye inkpads, a paintbrush, and water. My bling is from SU! Patterned paper is from Club Scrap. Card base is SU! paper.
