Color Challenge

Today's challenge at FOSTV is to create a card using Red and Black. I chose to do a Valentine's card for this challenge. I always have the intention to make a Valentine's Day card but seem to never have the time. Now I have no excuse!!!
Foe my card I used the stamp set "Keys" from MFP Stamp Shop.  The phrase is perfect for my hubby. After 30 years,  YES 30 years together I still believe this and what him to know it.
My supplies are : Keys stamp set, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Fun Stampers Journey ink : Candy Apple and Black Licorice, Copic markers, and Embossalicious embossing Folder "Rose Vine"

Butterfly Birthday

My newest creations is a Butterfly Birthday card. Who doesn't love butterflies? My inspiration is thinking of Spring. We haven't had a bad winter here in Illinois but I hate the cold weather. I am always looking forward to Spring, especially when my flowers start popping up. I get so excited when that happens. I feel the same about this card. The colors are bright and happy.
I used glossy paper behind the floral die with Fun Stampers Journey inks. I inked up the edge of a brayer with one color and placed the color on the paper and I then continued with the additional 2 colors. Once I had the colors the way I liked them, I heat set the Cardstock with my heat gun.
I adhered the die cutout with Journey Glaze. The edges of the butterfly were inked up. I stamped the sentiment on the butterfly and then used Journey Glaze with a little Sparkle Dust to give the butterfly some pizzazz!!

Hope you like my Kreation!!
 Thanks
  Barb

Square Card

Today's challenge at FOSTV is to create a "Square" card. This is a great design to use. I always like to create something out of the norm. This card came together pretty easily. Once I had the theme to all came to me. I have always liked the brown and green combo.
I used one of the newest stamp sets from MFP Stamp Shop. This set is called "Java Time". My supplies for this card are: Java Time Stamp set, Bo Bunny Little Miss Collection patterned paper, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Fun Stampers Journey Inkpads in: Hazelnut Blend, Oatmeal Cookie, and Green Olive ( makes me hungry now just not that combo of food  LOL) Fun Stampers Journey Twine, Sizzix Embossing folder, Spellbinder's Beaded Circles Die, and popdot.

Scenic Card

Happy New Year!! Here is the start of a new year with MFP Speedy TV. This week's challenge for FOSTV is to create a scenic card. I chose to create a background using my brayer and Kaleidacolor inkpad. What helps with this technique is using glossy paper to help blend the background. After brayering the background, heat set it to keep the color from smirring. I stamped the images with Archival Jet Back ink and heat set again to keep from smirring. This card was very simple to make but very sharp looking. My stamp set is Buffalo Spring from MFP Stamp Shop.
My supplies for this card: Buffalo Spring Stamp set from MFP Stamp shop, Glossy Paper, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Kaleidacolor Melon Melody inkpad, Archival Jet Black inkpad, and brayer.
