Night Creature

This week's challenge at FOSTV is to create a card using a Night Creature.  I chose to use the stamp set "Owls" from MFP Stamp Shop.  I used my circle die to create a Full Moon. To be me a beautiful night begins with a Full Moon. To me, owls are very noble and wise creatures. We have owls in my area but I have never been lucky enough to see them. Maybe one full moon evening I will get a chance. Until then, I will keep stamping my owls. :)

My supplies are: "Owls" Stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop, Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice and Denim Days inkpads, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Journey Circle dies, Journey Glaze, and ribbon from Fun Stampers Journey, Copic markers, and popdots.

Mother's Day Tri-fold

This week's challenge is to create a Tri Fold card at FOSTV. I chose to create a card for Mother's Day. I used the new stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop called "Gardenia". I love this new set. When I was newly married, we lived in a 2 flat in Chicago. My husband's grandmother lived above us. She was an Awesome Woman. I loved talking to her about anything. Her favorite flower of all times was the Gardenia. Every Mother's Day, we would give her Gardenias. So this set brings back memories. As a tribute to Louise, I made this card for my Mother in Law.
My supplies for this card are: Gardenia Stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Bo Bunny " Little Miss" patterned paper, Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice and Dark Roast inkpads, lace washi tape, Fun Stampers Journey cut rhinestones, Spellbinder's Floral Oval die, and Tombow colored pencils with Gamsol.

Colors of Spring

Today's challenge at FOSTV is to use Spring colors. I chose to be a little different with my card. I decided to make colorful mushrooms instead of flowers. I love this new stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop. I colored my mushrooms in fun Spring colors using my new Spectrum Aqua markers. I used Tim Holtz' Spritzer tool for the background with my marker. I always have mushrooms popping up in my grass and they drive me crazy. If I had colorful mushrooms then I would leave them.

My supplies:Mushroom Selections Stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Watercolor paper, Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice ink, Spectrum Aqua markers, waterbrush, Tin Holtz' Spritzer tool. Spellbinder's Labels 21 die, and popdots.

Spring means FLOWERS

Today's challenge at FOSTV is to use handmade flowers. I love flowers!! Especially now that Spring has arrived. My flowers are starting to peek thru the mulch in my garden. I love watch them grow. I can't wait to get my hands in my garden and clean out the old to make run for the new. Unfortunately we have snow falling right now. So my little ones will have to wait a few more days. I don't want to uncover them yet.

My flowers for this challenge were created from a Spellbinder's die called "Bitty Blossoms". I used the Stamp set called "Gardenia" from MFP Stamp Shop. I thought the sentiment was perfect for my flowers. I also used Spellbinder's Card Creator die "Floral Ribbon Threader. My cardstock and ink is from Fun Stampers Journey. My sequin is also from Fun Stampers Journey.

To this day, we still color eggs, even though the boys are 20,17,and 15. I set their baskets out in the middle of the night to surprise them. You never get tried of doing that. This card reminds me of the fun times.

Just hopping along

Here is another post today. I just happen to be in a creative mode today. I love this cute stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey. I didn't want to color the bunny too much. I lightly colored it with colored pencils and then blended the color using Gamsol. The blending softened the bunny. I really love the River Stone cardstock, it works well with the Bubblegum cardstock.

Today's challenge at FOSTV is to create a card using a Diamond Fold pattern. The instructions for this fold can be found on the challenge page or at Splitcoaststampers. I used patterned paper from Fun Stampers Journey to create my folded piece. I used the stamp set "Hot Air Balloon" from MFP Stamp Shop.  My card needed some POP  once I started to put it together, that was when I added the red to the card. I love the way it turned out. Roses are for Romance

Today's challenge at FOSTV is Romance. When I think of romance, I think of Roses. When I was dating my husband, he worked at a florist. I got flowers every week. The best was when I received just a single rose. Now that we are married and have our own home, I have rosebushes. I love just going out to look at them. I have over 10 bushes around our house.

For my card, I used the "Roses" Stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop. I chose to color my rose with Spectrum Noir pencils. I love the way they blend well. My cardstock is from Fun Stampers Journey and well as my ink ( Black Licorice). To add a little more romance, I used Romantic Rectangles 2 from Spellbinders. The ribbon is from my stash.

Butterfly Birthday

My newest creations is a Butterfly Birthday card. Who doesn't love butterflies? My inspiration is thinking of Spring. We haven't had a bad winter here in Illinois but I hate the cold weather. I am always looking forward to Spring, especially when my flowers start popping up. I get so excited when that happens. I feel the same about this card. The colors are bright and happy.
I used glossy paper behind the floral die with Fun Stampers Journey inks. I inked up the edge of a brayer with one color and placed the color on the paper and I then continued with the additional 2 colors. Once I had the colors the way I liked them, I heat set the Cardstock with my heat gun.
I adhered the die cutout with Journey Glaze. The edges of the butterfly were inked up. I stamped the sentiment on the butterfly and then used Journey Glaze with a little Sparkle Dust to give the butterfly some pizzazz!!

Hope you like my Kreation!!
 Thanks

Scenic Card

Happy New Year!! Here is the start of a new year with MFP Speedy TV. This week's challenge for FOSTV is to create a scenic card. I chose to create a background using my brayer and Kaleidacolor inkpad. What helps with this technique is using glossy paper to help blend the background. After brayering the background, heat set it to keep the color from smirring. I stamped the images with Archival Jet Back ink and heat set again to keep from smirring. This card was very simple to make but very sharp looking. My stamp set is Buffalo Spring from MFP Stamp Shop.
My supplies for this card: Buffalo Spring Stamp set from MFP Stamp shop, Glossy Paper, Fun Stampers Journey cardstock, Kaleidacolor Melon Melody inkpad, Archival Jet Black inkpad, and brayer.
